CEROCEROUNOUNO comes from binary code. It represents a beginning, a small signal that grows
into something meaningful. This publication marks the start of a focused effort to document and preserve live music performances in El Paso, Texas, with the intention of expanding beyond.

Starting in 2018, CEROCEROUNOUNO has focused on documenting the artists who’ve brought their performances to El Paso. This publication was created to archive those moments. Through photography, it captures the energy, emotion, and presence of artists as they perform. It creates a visual record of live music in a place where every show matters.

This is a focused archive of performances that might otherwise be overlooked. It is an effort to give permanence to moments that were meant to be temporary. CEROCEROUNOUNO reflects the idea that something as simple as a single frame can preserve a moment long after the sound fades. What begins as one image becomes part of a growing archive, rooted in El Paso and open to wherever the music leads next.
